At an international mining congress in the Canadian Niagara-on-the-Lake the international Mining Magazine awarded Contector for their scaler JAMA SBU 8000.

JAMA SBU 8000 was awarded in the category 'Underground Mining (Hard Rock) Ancillary and Analysis' with the following motivation: "One of the Industry´s most advanced scaling options, the SBU 8000 mechanized scaler has had success in recent years at a series of key mines in Scandinavia, including Zinkgruvan, Garpenberg and Kiruna".
